Fred Lorenzen's cup carrer spanned 12 years with 26 wins, 84 top tens and 32 poles, acheived in only 158 races run. From 1961 until 1967, Lorenzen drove the famous #28 Ford for Holman and Moody team. Fred was he first driver to win over $100,000 in a single season. He was named one of the cup series 50 gretest drivers in 1998 and inducted into the Motorsports Hall of fame in 2001.
